Hoovers Story
Hoovers, a D&B company, and one of the worlds leading business information sources, came to E2M in 2008 after attempting a mobile product initiative for their Hoovers’ business intelligence service. By Hoovers’ estimates, after six months of research and an investment of $250,000, to complete the project in-house would have far exceeded their budget.

E2M presented Hoovers with a custom solution that ft their specifcations and budget. With E2M’s Enterprise Connect, Hoovers had a universal language for all of their web and enterprise information. This technology laid the groundwork that Hoovers needed for a commercial product that was based on a single platform and could be accessed by multiple smartphone operating systems. Hoovers’ custom application became known as Mobile Prospector, a mobile solution that was delivered to Hoovers in just forty-five days.

Right from deployment, Mobile Prospector worked on Blackberry, Windows Mobile and iPhone. Even with all of this speed and added functionality, Hoovers’ Mobile Prospector solution, from conception to deployment, came in around 20% of the initial budget estimates.
